A duo based in Amsterdam formed by saxophonist Aina Font and cellist Diana Sanz.
They started as a duo during their master studies at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and after years of playing together they became a multifaceted ensemble; classical and contemporary repertoire, improvisation and landscape music...

In their musical path Duo Nim has been involved in variety of artistic projects. Premiering compositions in collaboration with the Norwegian composer Andreas Tegnander, and receiving funding from the renowned AFK funds.

Nim has recently received the award Jeunes Talents 2023 and will be performing a tour of concerts in museums and culture reference points in all over France during the season 2023/2024.

The lyrical and passionate nature of both instruments is one of the strongest characteristics and meeting points of this duo, uncommon yet with endless possibilities.
